Tejuosho is the founder and CEO of the Queen Adenike Tejuosho (QAT) Foundation, a multicultural humanitarian organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities (PWDs) and other marginalised groups.
Her initiatives include digital empowerment programmes, such as providing young Nigerians with cellphones to boost their digital literacy and encourage business.
She has been chosen as the Top 10 Magazine Female Humanitarian Service Icon of the Year 2024 for her contributions to social welfare and poverty eradication.
She is also the founder of Haleems Integrated Services Limited, which operates in a variety of commercial activities. Her work background includes using her firm’s and NGO resources to support community development and social impact initiatives.
Allegations
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has named Halimat Tejuosho, a 41-year-old entrepreneur from Abuja, as a wanted person for allegedly collecting money under false pretences.
Ms Tejuosho, an Abuja society woman, established Haleems Integrated Services Limited.
According to a notice placed on its official X site on Monday and signed by EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, Ms Tejuosho, whose photograph accompanied the notification, is wanted in connection with an ongoing investigation.
The commission described her as a Lagos State native whose last known address is House A26, Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
Ms Tejuosho appears to be the South-West zonal women’s leader of the City Boys Movement, a Tinubu-supporting political outfit.
The agency requested members of the public who have information about her whereabouts to call its offices across the country, including those in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
It further asked the public to contact it through proper channels or to report to the nearest police station or other security agencies.
Ms Tejuosho has been the target of long-running claims as she prepares to face an EFCC investigation in 2025.
A business partner has accused her of living extravagantly by fraudulently misappropriating monies intended for the performance of a joint contract with her companions.
In 2023, she denied flying abroad to dodge a lawsuit filed by her former business partner. She also denied the allegations.
In June 2025, The Nation reported that she was questioned by the EFCC regarding her alleged involvement in an appointment and contract scam.
The founder of Haleems Integrated Services Limited was reportedly questioned about allegations of accepting cash in exchange for promises of non-existent federal positions and lucrative government contracts.
A victim accused her of fooling others with a complex fraud that included fabricated paperwork and bogus appointment letters.
She has also grown as a political figure over time. In 2024, some groups requested President Bola Tinubu to appoint her as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, succeeding Betta Edu.
