Some tenants in Lagos have taken to social media to cry out after alleging that their landlord sold the property they live in, and the new owner reportedly demolished the building while their rent was still valid.
According to the claims circulating online, the tenants said they were still legally occupying the property when the sale took place, but were left stranded after demolition allegedly began before their tenancy expired.
The incident has triggered outrage online, with many Nigerians condemning the alleged action and calling for legal consequences.
