The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed the full list of state representatives for the 2026 President Federation Cup, setting the stage for another nationwide battle for silverware in both the men’s and women’s competitions.
Entries have arrived from across the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, with several heavyweight clubs and emerging sides lining up for the knockout tournament, widely regarded as Nigeria’s oldest and most prestigious domestic cup.
In the women’s competition, traditional giants headline the submissions. Bayelsa Queens return alongside Bayelsa Princesses, while Rivers Angels and Delta Queens are also in the mix. Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Sunshine Queens and FC Robo Queens are among other notable contenders, reflecting a strong spread of elite women’s football across the country.
The Lagos challenge will be led by FC Robo Queens and Ghetto Tiger Ladies, while the FCT fields Naija Ratels and NAF FC. Enugu presents Rangers Women and Zorha Queens, and Oyo sends Pacesetter Queens and Dragon Fury Ladies as the women’s bracket takes shape.
Attention is equally focused on the men’s tournament, where top-flight names sit alongside academy sides and grassroots teams. Enyimba FC and Bendel Insurance headline the early talking points, joined by Rangers International, Plateau United, Rivers United and former champions Lobi Stars and Akwa United.
Lagos will be represented by Ikorodu City and G12 FC, while Ogun fields Beyond Limits Academy and Stormers FC. Kano’s Barau FC and Bichi First also feature, with Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes and Sunshine U19 adding further depth to a diverse field.
