Firms bag ISO certification

A management consulting firm, Kennedia Consulting Limited, and a Nigerian oil and gas servicing company, KTS Oil & Gas Services Limited, have been awarded the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO 9001:2015) certificate for quality management system.

ISO 9001:2015 is the international standard that identifies requirements for the Quality Management System (QMS), which organisations use to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customers and other relevant business stakeholders’ expectations through effective quality management systems.

Speaking on the certification, the Chief Operating Officer of the firm, Akin Osikomaiya, stated that the feat demonstrates Kennedia’s commitment to a culture of continuous improvement.

He said: “With this award, Kennedia Consulting Limited will continue to ensure and sustain compliance with both local and international standards at every level of our operations. We are excited with the award as a recognition of our commitment to best practices and we are ever grateful to BlueStar Management Systems for being our partner in progress.’’

Also, while reiterating its commitment to quality standards, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KTS Oil & Gas Services, Tom Otuaga, said that obtaining certification for QMS holds several significant values for the company.

He added that the ISO 9001 framework, which the company is in compliance with, emphasises the establishment of clear and documented procedures for all critical operations, which can lead to improved efficiency, reduced errors, and better consistency in service delivery.
