#EndBadGovernance protests: Allow peace reign – Makinde

Oyo state Governor Engr Seyi Makinde on Saturday asked Nigerians to allow peace reign as search for good governance continues.

The governor who made the appeal in a statement issued by the Oyo state Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, lauded the people of the state for their conduct so far during the protest

He specifically emphasized the need for those in states where various degrees of violence were recorded during the protest to give peace a chance to reign.

Makinde lauded all the youths and parents in Oyo for ensuring peaceful demonstration across the state in the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protests.

The governor charged Nigerians to continue to be law abiding and ensure that their agitation is without rancour and incitement throughout the period.

He however ,praised the protesters especially the youths for keeping their end of the bargain as they expect the federal government to make life better for all and sundry.
