African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, met with former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, in Abuja on Friday to discuss unity and collaboration within the party.
Hayatu-Deen disclosed the meeting via his official X account, saying their talks centered on “unity, shared purpose, and the responsibility we carry as leaders within the ADC to put Nigeria first.”
“Beyond ambition, this moment calls for collaboration, mutual respect, and a collective commitment to rebuild our country,” he wrote.
The meeting comes as the ADC positions itself as a coalition platform ahead of the 2027 elections, with other heavyweight contenders including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Amaechi also linked to the party’s presidential ticket.
Hayatu-Deen, a former PDP presidential aspirant and ex-NESG Chairman, joined the ADC in April 2026.
He has urged party leaders to prioritize unity, saying “Nigerians are looking for a credible alternative, and the ADC must rise to that moment.”
