AKOKO-EDO CHILD WHO HAD THE HIGHEST SCORE FROM JAMB

Ajagun Gold, a 15-year-old rookie who broke records and put Akoko Edo/Edo on the map, is now in the picture.

Ajagun Gold, a student of “GLORYLAND” Secondary School in Igarra, Edo State, is one of the top students to have achieved an aggregate score of 335 in the recently completed 2023 JAMB Examination.

These are his ratings:
English is 70,
Physics is 88,
Chemistry is 98,
and Biology is 79.
His total now stands at 335.

Ajagun Gold was born in Igarra, the administrative center of Akoko Edo, but he is from Ososo, in the Akoko Edo LGA of Edo State. After losing his father, Mr. Ajagun, a former chemistry teacher at the school, he was brought up by his mother.
His dad passed away in a horrific car accident involving an Akoko Edo bus along the Benin road many years ago, may his soul rest in peace.
I was informed that he has been the top student in his class from his early school years up until this particular JAMB Examination. In addition, I was informed that he has represented his school in various external Examinations both inside and outside of Edo State. However, the most upsetting aspect of this is that he has not received any recognition from his school as a means of appreciation to inspire him to do more.

At Opozee Primary School in Igarra, the mother is currently a primary school teacher.
