Former Nigeria international Dimeji Lawal believes Victor Osimhen has the tools to slot seamlessly into either Real Madrid or FC Barcelona if a summer move materialises.
Both Spanish giants are tracking the Super Eagles forward ahead of the transfer window, with Osimhen’s stock soaring after an impressive spell at Galatasaray. The 26-year-old striker has grown into one of Europe’s most coveted forwards, with reports placing his valuation above €100 million.
Speaking to Complete Sports, Lawal said the former Napoli star has already proved he can deliver wherever he plays and should have no difficulty adapting in Spain.
“I really don’t think Osimhen will have any issue when it comes to fitting into Real Madrid or Barcelona. Osimhen has already shown that he’s a proven goal scorer and can perform at the highest level,” he said.
“I am very certain that he will be grabbing the goal headlines with ease if he joins either of the two clubs because they have quality players who will supply him with those passes for him to score.
“For me, it will be an easy ride for Osimhen if he decides to join Real Madrid or Barca this summer.”
TheTimes Nigeria reports that Arsenal are also considering the signing of Osimhen ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
