Popular Facebook herbal vendor and social media personality, Eniola Sisi Alagbo, has apologised after a purported intimate video involving her and two others surfaced online.
The Ibadan-based herbal practitioner, who has over 371,000 followers on Facebook and is known for marketing fertility, infection and men’s wellness products, broke her silence on the controversy in a post on her Facebook page.
The video, which began trending online on Tuesday, drew widespread reactions from social media users.
Reacting on Wednesday, Sisi Alagbo admitted her mistake and pleaded with the public not to condemn her.
“I own my mistakes and I apologize with all sincerity of the video circulating online,” she wrote.
She said she was “deeply sorry” to those who felt disappointed in her, describing the incident as a difficult phase in her life.
“This is a great phase for me and I pray for God forgiveness and my fans forgiveness, please let’s move on pass this because this media is where I get little support to feed,” she added.
Sisi Alagbo also appealed to critics to stop attacking her, saying she had been unable to eat or sleep for days since the video went viral.
“Pls don’t condemn me or castigate me am already passing through a lot, I can’t eat or sleep for days even sleeping meds aren’t working for me anyone longer,” she said.
The socialite ended the post by begging for forgiveness and suggesting that the backlash had taken a serious emotional toll on her.
“Please forgive me i don’t want to injure myself it’s only little strength i have,” she wrote.
Her apology has since generated mixed reactions, with some users condemning the leaked video while others urged the public to stop circulating it and allow her recover from the scandal.
